Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi
Upon arrival in Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and after clearing with customs and immigration, you will be met by your driver Guide at the arrival area who will transfer you to your city hotel. Overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel Meal Plan Bed and Breakfast

Day 2: Nairobi City tour
After the breakfast drive to Daphne Sheldrick’s Elephant Sanctuary. At the Elephant Sanctuary we admire the playful nature of these young elephants and experience a close encounter giants of the African wilderness. Next we move on to the Giraffe Sanctuary to see the rare Rothschild’s Giraffe. After this you will proceed for lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant. The afternoon is spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Nairobi Serena Hotel. Meal plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Nairobi – Fly Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, we drive to Wilson Airport for our scheduled early morning flight to Amboseli National Park. This Park is famous for the big herds of elephants and the view of Mount Kilimanjaro which is the highest free standing mountain in Africa. Lunch is served and you have some time to relax or enjoy the sun heated swimming pool before leaving for game drive. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 4: Amboseli National Park
Early morning and afternoon game drives. The open flat plains are ideal places to search for the buffaloes, cheetahs, lions, hyenas, zebras, hippos, and wildebeests. The swamps are ideal places to spot the elephants. There is also a wealth and diversity of bird’s species. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 5: Amboseli – Fly Nairobi – Fly Samburu Game Reserve
After breakfast, today you fly to Samburu Game Reserve via Nairobi. You have the opportunity to see the unique five. Wildlife found only in the northern frontier of Kenya that is, Gerenuk, Oryx, Reticulated giraffes and the Somali Ostrich. Your luxury Camp accommodations is along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River famous for its big crocodiles. Afternoon game drive coming back to the camp late in the evening. Overnight at Samburu Ashnill Safari Camp Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 6: Samburu Game Reserve
Morning and evening game drives are planned for today and some leisure time in between for you to enjoy the sun heated swimming pool. Overnight at Samburu Ashnill Safari Camp Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Day 7: Samburu Game Reserve – Fly Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Fly over the Great Rift Valley to the famous Masai Mara. Here we may savour a Bush Walk with an expert naturalist guide; experiencing the world of the Mara from the ground is is an opportunity to stretch our legs. Our accommodations are equally at Mara Serena Lodge.

Masai Mara National Park is the home to astonishing numbers of animals, the umbrella shaped trees, the beautiful sun set, the winding Mara River and the rugged Ololoolo Escarpment. Balloon safari is optional. Overnight at Masai Mara Serena Safari Lodge Meal Plan Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 8: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
On the Mara plains, there are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. The true pinnacle of our journey to the Mara however will be Bush Sundowners—a civilized cocktail party staged in the untamed wilds of Africa. We may also visit a Maasai village to learn some Masai cultures.

Day 9: Masaai Mara Game Reserve – Fly Nairobi
A short flight to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. We highly suggest a visit to a children’s Orphanage to bring your African journey full circle. A day room is available until departure for international flights this evening. Day room at the Nairobi Serena Lodge. Meal Plan Breakfast and Lunch. Dinner will be at the Carnivore restaurant.
